On 19 February was celebrated IT Professionals' Day 2016 (Latvijas programmētāju Diena 2016) in Riga, Latvia. The main events of the Latvian IT Professionals' Day were the scientific conference, technology workshops for students prepared by the universities and IT companies of Latvia, and the IT Professionals' Day ball. The Day was organised by LIKTA in cooperation with University of Latvia, Riga Technical University and Rezekne Technology Academy within eSkills for Jobs campaign. IT companies Accenture, Exigen Services Latvia, SQUALIO Cloud Consulting, Tieto Latvia, ZZ Dats participated in the event as partners.
